Your purchase directly supports the sponsoring program of “Water in School” aimed at supplying clean drinking water at school to the most vulnerable people of all, children. Your support helps to finance the daily supply of safe drinking water to the primary schools, children’s homes and health care centres in the villages where the organisation operates so every child can have access to safe water irrespective of whether their parents could buy it or not.

Through the “Water in School” program we aim to provide 1,000 schoolchildren in a remote village in Cambodia with their entire supply of clean drinking water for 1 year.

HIAM Health is a non-profit organisation providing nutrition education, and rehabilitation for malnourished children since 2004. Its mission is to empower the people of Timor-Leste through education to reduce infant and maternal mortality and the current unacceptable health and social conditions that they are living in.

With every bag you purchase, Generation Generous will educate a family in East Timor on nutrition and methods to reduce the incidence and recurrence of malnutrition.
Your purchase directly funds the provision of a handbook-manual with vital educating health guidelines, proper nutrition advice and balanced diet recipes provided to mothers that already had one occasion of a malnourished child. This will ensure that the mother has a handy guide and educating reminder with all the information of how to permanently reduce the incidence or reoccurrence of malnutrition for her child and her whole family. The handbook relies heavily on pictures in order to access also mothers who are illiterate.

Impact Goal of the limited edition

We aim to reach at least 500 people about proper nutrition in East Timor through educating mothers. The number of educating handbooks covers all women with children that will exit the HIAM’s rehab centre within four months.

Barefoot College is a non-governmental organization that has been providing basic services and solutions to problems in rural communities for more than 40 years, with the objective of making them self-sufficient and sustainable. These ‘Barefoot solutions’ can be broadly categorized into the delivery of Solar Electrification, Clean Water, Education, Livelihood Development, and Activism.

The Barefoot education system of Creches, Day Schools, Solar Powered Bridge Schools held in the evenings and the residential Bridge school program bring place based, issue based and civil society education to more than 5000 children annually across 5 states in India. Health is an integral part of that education process, as the organisation seeks to develop strong participatory communities where boys and most importantly girls play a role in their own journey out of poverty. Reducing migration, increasing the number of children educated and directly supporting better livelihoods for all and this is what with work with the organisation to achieve

The Barefoot College team of Barefoot Doctors, Barefoot Dentists and Barefoot Midwives has been doing just that for 40 years for more than 75,000 children.

Prerana is a non profit organization which since 1986 works to end second generation prostitution and to protect women and children from the threats of human trafficking by defending their rights and dignity, providing a safe environment, supporting their education and health, and leading major advocacy efforts.

Your purchase directly funds English-speaking language courses taught at the vocational centres of Prerana for girls that were either themselves trafficked or are second generation victims.

Impact of the limited edition

Together with our charity partner, Prerana, we aim to provide 30 girls who have fallen victims to human trafficking in India with full 6-month intensive English speaking courses. This will enable them to broaden their employment opportunities, pursue college education, broaden their horizon by giving them wider reading choices and help them develop their personality and boost their confidence overall.
